I am dying over these play kitchens! The thing is, a few of them are nicer than my own grown up kitchen...
The last one is my fave because it has all the features, best placement, and a washing machine! Plus, no one wants their microwave to be under the sink. ;)
REVISION:
Last night Maya dug out all of the play pots/pans/food and spread it out all over the house. I almost made a hasty kitchen out of boxes in a panic over the amount of kitchenware underfoot. But alas, no boxes big enough to do the job right. If I could, I would buy this right now:
The clear winner, based on a great reader's comment, is this amazing kitchen. I'm filing this away for when we have a bigger house and a bigger income. And while I really do like the wood/primary colors of the other one I initially chose as the favorite (we have a thoroughly Ikea home), this one has it all. That tiny laundry basket is what really does it for me! Maya is nuts for laundry. Which would really come in handy if she actually knew how to wash and fold, because it's my least favorite chore.
(Oh, and Finn saw this an tried to reach INTO the computer screen...)

Adorable! I want one!
i didn't have these kinds of toys when i was a kid...
Take a look at Little Tikes Website - that last kitchen is there (same features, just different brand) We've got that one, and it's fabulous! I like the LT colors better, I think it fits into most people's decor better than bright primary colors. AND it's got an ironing board that pulls out of the side. Beware putting it together though - it takes a few hours - but it's very solid too (with no stickers!), so I can't really complain about that.
The play kitchens they make now put the one I had when I was little to shame! I'll be honest, i'm a little bit jealous.
You have no idea how much I wanted one of those when I was little. That is the one thing my kids played with every single day. Worth the investment if you have a little chef on your hands. :)
I got Rowan this one (it was NOT that expensive when I bought it, don't know what that's about) and she absolutely loves it, plays with it all the time. Very good investment.
