There are some culinary geniuses in my family. We ate REALLLLLY well. My brother and sister-in-law tackled pheasant, as well as home-made pasta (not all in the same night, of course). The night of the pasta, we had a four (or five?) course authentic Italian meal. It was completely unbelievable. Sitting here eating carrot sticks and ranch dip is making me long for yummier days!

Oh my goodness! That all looks divine! And the table is so pretty too. Can you pack me in your suitcase next year, please?
p.s. your blog looks really sweet Lyndsay! I love the little heart you've incorporated into the design. :)
That looks like one . . . no two, heavenly meals. You are soo lucky! I want that meat recipe. I love making homemade pasta. You just can't go back after you try it, huh. Well, I guess you do go back, but it's never the same, is it?
Delicious. And I'm sorry is that bird wrapped in BACON? oh man. Yes, the blog looks great. Is that a play on Japanese tape, I spy? Nice!
That is indeed a bacon-wrapped bird. Ten years ago I might be running for the hills, but my current carnivorous self has to report that it was buttery and amazing!!
