Almost every morning I wander into the kitchen to find an empty, clean bowl with a spoon resting in it, on the counter. It's Wes's leftover evidence that he ate breakfast earlier in the morning. Other wives might think, "Why did he forget to put his bowl and spoon away again??" But I think he leaves it out for me. I like to look at it as a little gesture of kindness on Wes's part—no matter how conscious, or otherwise, it happens to be. It feels like a little love note: "I hope you got a few extra hours of sleep since you were up with Maya last night. Have a nice breakfast!" Silly, I know, but I smile just the same while I eat my Honey Bunches of Oats.

That is very sweet of you to think that. But, you've always got very sweet and loving comments when it comes to how you perceive your family. We should all be so kind! : )
Happy Thursday to you!
That is so sweet.
So sweet!
Love it!
Yeah...I used to get ticked off when Dave left his small bowl he cooked his egg in for me to wash....now I am just grateful he is eating before he leaves for work and not buying both breakfast and lunch from 7-Eleven!
P.S. Before we got married I told him "I DONT MAKE LUNCHES."
