The scriptures I study from include the same King James version of the Old and New Testament that other Christian denominations use, as well as the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price. Visit HERE to learn more. I can tell you my day is better when I "check-in" to see what Heavenly Father wants me to understand that day.

Resolute.
I NEVER keep New Year's resolutions. So I am not making any. Not a single one. But remember this post? Well part of that "bargaining session" I was doing with God included the promise that I would read my scriptures every day. Each one of the entire year. It makes for a much easier promise to keep when you are asking for some major blessings in return. All I have to do is look is look at Finn's sweet face that is still here everyday for me to love and kiss, and I'm a-reading!

That is definitely a good habit. I'm afraid my Bible has been shelved for way too long. I've cracked open other prayer books, but not The Gospel. I need to follow your example!
Resolutions are the worst but I still make them... every year! I'm happy to report that reading the scriptures daily is on my list and so far, I'm golden! (Dont remind me that it's only been 4 days!)
Good for you. I like the KJV, my grandmother had a very old one with notes and all types of goodies written in it. I am glad Finn is ok.
that is always a good resolution whether you bargained or not. but i'm glad finn is still here too, so i'll keep a-reading as well. love you!
Lyndsay, I can't tell you how much I love this post. I really needed to read this. Thanks.
