The Host is great. You'll like it. I haven't read the next one on your list, but strangely enough I keep running into it everywhere and thinking it looks interesting. I even saw it on sale at JoAnn the other day. Which is strange because I've never known them to carry books (other than craft and sewing related books, that is).
I haven't heard of "The Host", but it certainly looks good.

i finished that band wagon last month but it certainly was great.
