You know it's Easter time around here when the Mesa, AZ LDS Temple holds the annual
Easter Pageant on its expansive grassy lawn. Tonight we thought we would take Finn. He did pretty well. Before the show starts all of the performers walk around greeting the audience. One Centurian took a special liking to Finn, and tried, repeatedly, to get a smile out of Finn, to no avail. I told him Finn takes a while to warm up to gold, feathered helmets. Once the show started, Finn had a grand time mimicking the lambs on stage in his own loud baby voice (that cracked up whole rows of people). And every time there was a host of angels with their arms lifted, Finn would stand on my lap and raise his arms over his head, or sway them back and forth—whatever the celestial throng was doing. :) I was laughing so hard I was crying, but trying to be totally quiet about it at the same time. Finally, just after the scene of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemene, Finn clapped enthusiastically (even though it wasn't really the right moment...). So it seems Finn really is a fan of theater!
This time next week we'll be headed to Granbury, TX to spend Easter with my family on the lake. Can't wait!
Thought I'd get a little crazy with my banner/theme. Why not...

Have fun with your family next week too.
Great job on the banner! Have a great vacation!
I love the new look of your blog! We saw Wes and Finn walking at the Easter Pageant the other night- he is getting so grown up! It sounds like he did great- our 4 year old couldn't sit still for 3 seconds and was trying to steal the attention of everyone around us (and far away from us) from the show the WHOLE time.
LOVE the new look!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE your new theme. Second, we like the Johnson's. They're great.
